Discovery Montessori offers full-day and half-day preschool programs, a full-day kindergarten program, and early elementary programs (grades 1-3). In keeping with Montessori philosophy, our classrooms are grouped into Primary (ages 3-6) and Early Elementary (ages 6-9). All our programs are five days a week.

We have 3 Primary classrooms at East Mountain. At our Providence location, we have one Primary classroom and one Early Elementary classroom.

Each classroom is led by a PA-certified teacher and an assistant teacher or co-teacher. One staff member of each classroom is Montessori-certified or experienced. As a licensed school, Discovery Montessori operates throughout the school year, from September through June.

Half day preschool (8.30am – 11.15am) – $495 a month
Full day preschool (8.30am – 3pm) – $695 a month
Full day kindergarten (8.30am – 3pm) – $700 a month
Elementary school (8.30am – 3pm) – $700 a month

Eligible students at Discovery Montessori receive free tuition through Pre-K Counts. We also accept Child Care Works subsidy for tuition and participate in the Preschool Scholarship program through United Way. Our elementary students are eligible for tuition assistance through the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit program.

Through these partnerships and programs, approximately 75% of our students receive free or reduced tuition.

There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $35 to enroll in Discovery Montessori. Upon receipt of the registration fee, we will provide the information pack including the necessary forms to complete enrollment.

Discovery Montessori provides After School Care at our East Mountain campus on a user-pays basis. This runs from 3:30pm until 5:00pm Monday through Thursday and costs $5 per half hour.
